Verse 1

When the night falls, and doubt softly creeps,

The darkness will whisper your fears.

The shadows will gather where faint starlight sleeps,

And try to draw forth all your tears.

A figure may come with a comforting face,

But carries no warmth in his eyes.

He’ll say that he knows where your path begins—

But don’t you trust in his lies.

My Lord says… “The blind cannot lead the blind.”

My Lord says… “Wait for Me, I’ll be your guide.”


Verse 2

The wind may be howling, the trees bending low,

Your path may seem hidden from view.

You might feel alone with no place to go—

But still, truth is walking with you.

A voice may call out from the mist and the chill,

And beckon you into the gray.

He’ll promise the answers your heart longs to hear—

But don’t let him lead you astray.

My Lord says… “My sheep will know My voice.”

My Lord says… “Staying near Me, you’ll rejoice.”


Verse 3

When silence is heavy and sleep will not stay,

And shadows still flit through the trees,

Remember the One who watches your way—

The Shepherd who never will leave.

He knows every fear that you can’t understand,

He gathers your tears when you pray.

And when the dark whispers, “You’ll never be found”—

Let this be the truth that you say:

My Lord says… “I hold you through the night.”

My Lord says… “I’ll lead you with My light.”


Verse 4

Though shadows may linger and questions may stay,

And answers seem silent or far,

The Maker of dawn is still shaping your way—

He knows where the hidden paths are.

So rest in His wisdom, though storms may not cease,

He governs each drop of the rain.

And when your heart wonders, “Is He still near?”—

Let this be your refrain:

My Lord says… “I work through joy and pain.”

My Lord says… “No tear is ever in vain.”

My Lord says… “My grace will always remain.”

My Lord says… “In the dark, still I reign.”
